Late Sunday morning into the afternoon, Madrid drinks vermut de grifo — vermouth on tap, over ice, with an olive — usually about €3 with something to pick at. La Latina after the Rastro is the classic run, but every barrio has its bar. It is a tradition rather than a promotion, and it is the single easiest way to feel like you live here.
