Lavapiés market where the neighbourhood actually shops and eats.
A proper working market in Lavapiés that has slowly filled with small food stalls, a bookshop selling books by the kilo, and a beer stall. Multicultural, cheap, and full of locals rather than tour groups.
Best in the evening when the stalls put tables out. A full meal and a drink comes to about €10–12.
