Malasaña & Chueca: the modern Madrid walk
Street art, record shops, the 1980s Movida, and where to stop for a caña.
A wander through the two barrios that define modern Madrid — one born out of the post-Franco Movida, the other the heart of Spanish LGBTQ+ life since the eighties.
About 90 minutes plus however long you stop for. Best from late afternoon into the evening, when both neighbourhoods wake up.
